Production Supervisor - line performance (Providence, RI)

Cedar Wilder Manufacturing makes precision components in Providence. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on line performance. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and machine downtime. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
