Production Supervisor - line performance (Providence, RI)

Cedar Wilder Manufacturing makes precision components in Providence, and we need a Production Supervisor to lead our line performance. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Report daily on output, downtime and machine downtime. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
