Production Supervisor - line performance (Louisville, KY)

Rivermark Amber Press is a printer and publisher in Louisville serving local and national clients. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on line performance. You would join a small organisation of about 81 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and proofing. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Experience with proofing. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Louisville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
