Production Supervisor - line performance (Knoxville, TN)

Redstone Kestrel Manufacturing makes precision components in Knoxville. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on line performance. You would join a small organisation of about 47 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Report daily on output, downtime and work orders. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Knoxville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
