Production Supervisor - line performance (Houston, TX)

We are growing our team at Cedar Ember Press and adding a Production Supervisor whose main responsibility will be line performance. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Report daily on output, downtime and paper stock. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with paper stock. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
