Production Supervisor - line performance (Houston, TX)

Cedar Sable Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Houston plant, and we need a Production Supervisor to lead our line performance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Report daily on output, downtime and paper stock. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with paper stock. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
