Production Supervisor - line performance (Houston, TX)

Bright River Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Houston plant. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on line performance. You would join a large organisation of about 458 people based in Houston. What you will do • Report daily on output, downtime and customer orders. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
