Production Supervisor - line performance (Detroit, MI)

Cedar Vista Press is looking for a Production Supervisor. The job centres on line performance for paper stock, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 23 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Report daily on output, downtime and paper stock. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with paper stock. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
