Production Supervisor - line performance (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Summit Timber Pharma and adding a Production Supervisor whose main responsibility will be line performance. People move between science and operations roles. What you will do • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Report daily on output, downtime and quality documentation. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with quality documentation. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
