Production Supervisor - line performance (Charleston, SC)

Redstone Vale Press is looking for a Production Supervisor. The job centres on line performance for bindery work, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and bindery work. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Experience with bindery work. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
