Production Supervisor - line performance (Birmingham, AL)

Ironwood Wilder Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Birmingham plant, and we need a Production Supervisor to lead our line performance. You would join a small organisation of about 13 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Report daily on output, downtime and bindery work. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Experience with bindery work. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
