Production Supervisor - line performance (Birmingham, AL)

Westbrook Nest Medical designs and makes medical devices in Birmingham. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on line performance. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Report daily on output, downtime and production lots. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with production lots. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
