Production Supervisor - line performance (Albuquerque, NM)

Amberfield Vale Press is a printer and publisher in Albuquerque serving local and national clients. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on line performance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and bindery work. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with bindery work. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Albuquerque, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
