Product Manager - search and discovery (Portland, OR)

Fernwood Pike Medical designs and makes medical devices in Portland, and we need a Product Manager to lead our search and discovery. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Work with engineers and designers through each release. • Handle trade-offs around clinical evaluations and compliance. • Track adoption and outcomes, and stop what is not working. • Turn what you learn into clear priorities and short written requirements. • Talk with users and front-line staff to find the problems worth solving. What we are looking for • Three or more years in product management, business analysis or a similar role. • Comfort with data and with talking to customers directly. • Excellent written communication. Nice to have • Experience with clinical evaluations or a regulated setting. • Familiarity with agile delivery. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
