Product Manager - internal tools (remote)

Harborlight Haven Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Sacramento, and we need a Product Manager to lead our internal tools. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Work with engineers and designers through each release. • Handle trade-offs around catastrophe response and compliance. • Keep leaders informed with honest, concise updates. • Turn what you learn into clear priorities and short written requirements. • Talk with users and front-line staff to find the problems worth solving. What we are looking for • Comfort with data and with talking to customers directly. • Three or more years in product management, business analysis or a similar role. • Excellent written communication. Nice to have • Familiarity with agile delivery. • Experience with catastrophe response or a regulated setting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
