Product Manager - internal tools (Buffalo, NY)

Northwind Willow Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Buffalo, and we need a Product Manager to lead our internal tools. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with engineers and designers through each release. • Keep leaders informed with honest, concise updates. • Turn what you learn into clear priorities and short written requirements. • Talk with users and front-line staff to find the problems worth solving. • Handle trade-offs around customer complaints and compliance. What we are looking for • Three or more years in product management, business analysis or a similar role. • Excellent written communication. • Comfort with data and with talking to customers directly. Nice to have • Familiarity with agile delivery. • Experience with customer complaints or a regulated setting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
