Product Manager - freight documentation (Birmingham, AL)

Northwind Yarrow Freight is a Birmingham freight and logistics company, and paperwork remains the slowest part of every shipment. We are hiring a contract product manager to improve the tools our dispatchers and drivers use to handle bills of lading, proofs of delivery and customs papers. What you will do • Sit with dispatchers and drivers to understand where documents get lost or delayed. • Define the improvements our two-person engineering team should build next. • Track results: fewer disputes, faster invoicing and fewer calls to the office. What we are looking for • Three or more years as a product manager or business analyst. • Experience in logistics is a plus; curiosity about how freight really moves is essential. Contract for six months, on site in Birmingham.
