Payroll Specialist - timekeeping audits (St. Louis, MO)

Redstone Pine Staffing is a St. Louis staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles, and we need a Payroll Specialist to lead our timekeeping audits. We are in the people business and act like it. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in St. Louis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
