Payroll Specialist - timekeeping audits (Salt Lake City, UT)

Ironwood Rook Staffing is looking for a Payroll Specialist. The job centres on timekeeping audits for client orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Salt Lake City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
