Payroll Specialist - timekeeping audits (remote)

Stonegate Maple Financial provides savings, lending and payment services from Madison, and we need a Payroll Specialist to lead our timekeeping audits. Teams collaborate across risk, service and technology. What you will do • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
