Payroll Specialist - timekeeping audits (remote)

Stonegate Umber Banking Services is a community-focused bank in Albuquerque serving households and small businesses. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to take on timekeeping audits. Most people here started in a branch and stayed. What you will do • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Albuquerque. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
