Payroll Specialist - timekeeping audits (remote)

Foxglove Nest Staffing Group is a Honolulu staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles, and we need a Payroll Specialist to lead our timekeeping audits. Recruiters here keep in touch with people long after placement. What you will do • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Honolulu. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
