Payroll Specialist - timekeeping audits (remote)

Amberfield Lantern Construction Partners builds commercial and industrial projects around San Antonio, and we need a Payroll Specialist to lead our timekeeping audits. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
