Payroll Specialist - timekeeping audits (remote)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Timber Financial and adding a Payroll Specialist whose main responsibility will be timekeeping audits. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
