Payroll Specialist - timekeeping audits (remote)

Ironwood Junction Financial is a financial-services company in Cincinnati. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to take on timekeeping audits. You would join a small organisation of about 22 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Cincinnati. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
