Payroll Specialist - timekeeping audits (remote)

Northwind Cobalt Construction builds commercial and industrial projects around Las Vegas. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to take on timekeeping audits. You would join a small organisation of about 166 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Las Vegas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
