Payroll Specialist - timekeeping audits (Portland, OR)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Maple Financial Group and adding a Payroll Specialist whose main responsibility will be timekeeping audits. You would join a large organisation of about 273 people based in Portland. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
