Payroll Specialist - timekeeping audits (Pittsburgh, PA)

Ironwood Beacon Financial Partners is a financial-services company in Pittsburgh, and we need a Payroll Specialist to lead our timekeeping audits. Teams collaborate across risk, service and technology. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
