Payroll Specialist - timekeeping audits (Oakland, CA)

Ironwood Beacon Financial Partners provides savings, lending and payment services from Oakland, and we need a Payroll Specialist to lead our timekeeping audits. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
