Payroll Specialist - timekeeping audits (Madison, WI)

Bluepeak Loom Construction builds commercial and industrial projects around Madison, and we need a Payroll Specialist to lead our timekeeping audits. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
