Payroll Specialist - timekeeping audits (Grand Rapids, MI)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Oak Banking Services and adding a Payroll Specialist whose main responsibility will be timekeeping audits. We keep decisions close to customers and expect people to explain things plainly. What you will do • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
