Payroll Specialist - timekeeping audits (Denver, CO)

Rivermark Cedar Banking Services Associates is looking for a Payroll Specialist. The job centres on timekeeping audits for loan files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Most people here started in a branch and stayed. What you will do • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Denver, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
