Payroll Specialist - timekeeping audits (Buffalo, NY)

Nova Vista Financial is a financial-services company in Buffalo. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to take on timekeeping audits. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Buffalo. • We reply to every applicant.
