Payroll Specialist - timekeeping audits (Birmingham, AL)

Foxglove Summit Construction Group is a Birmingham contractor with project managers, trades and support staff, and we need a Payroll Specialist to lead our timekeeping audits. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
