Payroll Specialist - timekeeping audits (Baltimore, MD)

Greenridge Junction Staffing connects candidates and employers across the Baltimore region. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to take on timekeeping audits. You would join a large organisation of about 941 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
