Payroll Specialist - timekeeping audits (Albuquerque, NM)

Clearpath Pike Construction Group builds commercial and industrial projects around Albuquerque. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to take on timekeeping audits. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Albuquerque, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
