Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (Wichita, KS)

Highbridge Ember Financial provides savings, lending and payment services from Wichita, and we need a Payroll Specialist to lead our multi-state payroll. You would join a small organisation of about 35 people based in Wichita. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Wichita, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
