Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (Spokane, WA)

Nova Ashton Banking Services provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Spokane, and we need a Payroll Specialist to lead our multi-state payroll. You would join a small organisation of about 57 people based in Spokane. What you will do • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Spokane, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
