Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (Savannah, GA)

Bluepeak Maple Construction is a Savannah contractor with project managers, trades and support staff, and we need a Payroll Specialist to lead our multi-state payroll. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Savannah. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
