Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (San Antonio, TX)

Amberfield Basin Banking Services provides everyday banking and small-business lending around San Antonio, and we need a Payroll Specialist to lead our multi-state payroll. We keep decisions close to customers and expect people to explain things plainly. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
