Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (Richmond, VA)

Westbrook Oak Banking Services is looking for a Payroll Specialist. The job centres on multi-state payroll for loan files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 459 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system.
