Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (remote)

Bright Quill Banking Services is a regional lender in Madison with branches and a growing mobile service. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to take on multi-state payroll. We promote from within and train well. What you will do • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Madison. • We reply to every applicant.
