Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (remote)

Redstone Meadow Staffing is a Charleston staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles, and we need a Payroll Specialist to lead our multi-state payroll. Recruiters here keep in touch with people long after placement. What you will do • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
