Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (remote)

Silverline Umber Banking Services provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Anchorage. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to take on multi-state payroll. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
