Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (remote)

Silverline Nest Staffing is a Indianapolis staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles, and we need a Payroll Specialist to lead our multi-state payroll. Speed and follow-up matter. What you will do • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Indianapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
