Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (remote)

Northwind Linden Banking Services is a regional lender in Atlanta with branches and a growing mobile service, and we need a Payroll Specialist to lead our multi-state payroll. You would join a small organisation of about 48 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Atlanta. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
