Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (remote)

Amberfield Iron Financial is a financial-services company in Nashville. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to take on multi-state payroll. You would join a small organisation of about 108 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Nashville. • We reply to every applicant.
