Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (remote)

Nova Loom Staffing is looking for a Payroll Specialist. The job centres on multi-state payroll for client orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
