Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (remote)

Redstone River Staffing connects candidates and employers across the Cincinnati region. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to take on multi-state payroll. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Cincinnati. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
