Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (remote)

Cedar Pike Financial provides savings, lending and payment services from Fresno, and we need a Payroll Specialist to lead our multi-state payroll. Career paths are clear. What you will do • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Fresno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
